FAQ
Does this work with Control Rig?
Yes. zwSkinningToolbox operates purely on Skeletal Mesh skin weight data, so it is fully compatible with Control Rig setups.
Is there a runtime cost?
None. The plugin is editor-only. Baked weights are standard UE skeletal mesh data with zero plugin overhead at runtime.
Which Unreal Engine versions are supported?
Unreal Engine 5.6, 5.7, and 5.8 on Windows 64-bit.
Can I use it on multiple machines with one license?
The license is per-seat. Each developer workstation requires its own license.
Do I need to re-import my FBX after using the toolbox?
No — that is the whole point. Import once, paint and refine inside Unreal indefinitely.
